A Healthy Menu Is in the Eye of the Beholder
With all the buzz about the potential ban in New York City of large soda sales, I thought it would be worth revisiting what “healthy food” really means. Awhile back, Smartblog on Food and Beverage featured a piece of mine in which I outline the range of opportunities for restaurants to improve the health — and health perceptions — of their offerings. It talks about how a healthy menu is really in the eye of the beholder, since different consumers define health in different ways.
