Suppose a budget hotel chain, which you frequent to save money, announced that customers&#039; found their beds to be small and generally uncomfortable.  So they&#039;re now replacing all of their beds with &quot;heavenly beds.&quot;  Would you feel, &quot;Wow. I&#039;ve been stupid to sleep in those previous beds?&quot;  Or, &quot;Great!  They&#039;re improving the experience . . . for me?  And I don&#039;t have to pay more.&quot;

Apply that thinking to any less than stellar, budget-minded transactional experience and I think you&#039;ll find customers thinking, &quot;Thanks!  It&#039;s about time.&quot;  And not, &quot;I must have been an idiot.&quot;</description>
